Due to unforeseeable high or low water, adverse weather conditions or delays in lock and bridge passages or their closure, it may be necessary to change the itinerary. In extreme cases, our local agency or the shipping company will use another available means of transport for impassable stretches of river or certain program points cannot be taken into account. Berths are often used by several ships at the same time, with the ships lying next to or behind each other. Obstructions to visibility and noise pollution must then be expected.

Typical ship noises may occur during the journey.

Please note that during the passage of low bridges, access to the sun decks may be restricted at times. On certain sections of the river, such as the Main or Moselle, there are sometimes very low bridges to pass. The ship's crew takes appropriate precautions, removes the railing and windscreen and lowers the wheelhouse hydraulically to ensure safe passage. For your own safety, it is then not possible to enter the ship.
